Dorchester Clapp Pear (12’ high, cast bronze) with community inscribed bricks to celebrate the fluidity of Dorchester’s past and present, with ten contemporary bronze sentinel artworks (24” h x 24” w) honoring Dorchester’s enduring personal and community history.
5 Interpretive panels to share community history and the stories and meanings behind the artworks.
The $135,000 project catalyzed a 2.2-million-dollar urban renewal of this important but visually depleted intersection.
